What to expect from Couples Coaching — The Connected Relationship

You and your partner are exploring different options to strengthen your relationship, from coaching to therapy, retreats to workshops.  You both like the idea of the ongoing support that it seems like you can get through therapy and coaching, but you’re still not quite sure what that would look like for your relationship, your schedule, and your budget.

Let’s talk about what you can expect from Couples Coaching with The Connected Relationship!  Here’s the program we’ve created, based on our work with couples and what we’ve found helpful in our own relationship.

  1. Free Consultation.  We want to make sure that what we offer is a good fit for what you need, so we offer a free consultation so that we can get an idea of what’s going on in your relationship and how we can help you.  

  2. You said “YES!” and we’re all ready to get started.  Our first coaching session is focused on digging deeper into your relationship goals and dreams for what you want your relationship to be.  Then, for the first three months, we meet bi-weekly to make progress toward these goals.  

  3. Monthly sessions for the following three months so that you can get the support you need to put the new skills that you’re learning into place.

  4. Weekly check in.  Every week we have 15 minutes to check in via a video messaging app so that you can ask questions and get answers!

  5. Talk. Laugh. Dream. Explore. Adventure. Play.  These are the byproducts of coaching with us.  Remember what it was like to like your partner?  We can help you get there again!

Throughout your experience with us, we are checking in with you about how you’re feeling about the progress that you’re making in your relationship.  We want for you to make big progress quickly, so we’ll be direct with you and your partner about new skills to try to get things back on track in your relationship.  

We want you to communicate better with one another, be closer to one another, have better sex, and laugh more often.  We’ll help give you a framework for having the difficult conversations that must happen in relationships AND be able to do it in a way that is more productive.  We will help you to stop feeling like roommates and find the relationship you’ve always wanted but never knew how to get!
